Another awesome adventure in Colorado
was the bike ride to Frisco and stop at the Butterhorn Bakery. In the
fine tradition of bike gangs, what extreme adventure would be complete
without a stop at the bakery? We are so hardcore! When you come to Camp
Kelly! be ready to work.
After the bike ride, we finished up
the camp experience with girls night out. It was a night fully of Kellys
& Jens. What could be better. With a total of 3 Kellys and 2 Jens
at times, I was feeling a little bit out of place being the only "Lu"
there. Luckily these kind people allowed me to be a Jen for a while so
I wasn't a complete loner. What a great group!
Here's the bike trail connecting Frisco with
Breckenridge. This trip was about 20 mi. each way, but bike path
link many communities in the area, so you can keep going and going
and going....
Pedro. The most beautiful donkey in the county.
I have lots more pictures of him if you want them. Just let me
know.
This is the street of Frisco, home of the
Butterhorn Bakery among other things.
This girl must be laughing at something not
funny. She is renowned for that. Just don't tell her a joke and
expect anything.
The trail between the two communities follows
the Blue River. Quite scenic.
Same guys, just a different view.
Breckenridge
The town of Breckenridge. Note
ski runs in the back. This is one of the 7 peaks behind the town
with ski runs gracing its sides.
How could you resist this amazing group of
girls?
The Three Kellys. You could make
a movie about that.
Here is Camp Kelly! headquarters in Blue River.
What an awesome place!
The real director,
Tangy cat. We all know who's really running the show here. Anyone
need a partially dead mouse? This is your cat!
